about me

I am an adaptable technical generalist with broad experience, ranging from circuit board rework to troubleshooting custom code in enterprise CRMs. I love finding connections, and discovering the right way to explain a concept that gets it to click with someone.

Even after years of experience in customer contact, first-line support, and running educational sessions for middle schoolers, it makes my day when I can make someone else’s day. I love making a difference in my community. In the past, that’s taken the form of volunteering for Girl Scouts, Maker Faires, and contributing to Project Gutenberg and Wikipedia. Going forward, I’m working on contributing to some of my favorite open source projects, starting with documentation.

a few things i’m proud of

  • Co-authoring Actuators and the Power To Do Tasks, published by Cavendish Square, part of a set of secondary-level robotics textbooks.
  • Independently identifying and submitting evidence on the code causing a long-term HubSpot integration failure in a past role.
  • Coaching FIRST Robotics teams (Lego League and VEX), as well as volunteering as a Judge for competitions.
